Burt's Place
I found out about Burt’s Place from watching Anthony Bourdain’s No Reservations. It looked great and I had to check it out. It’s location is in a neighborhood area and the place is tiny. I recommend that you call to make a reservation. When you get there then, the food will come out within minutes. So it certain pays to be prepared and on time.
I wouldn’t quite call it Chicago deep dish pizza, but the pizza is great. The place has character and it’s a cozy little place to eat with a small group of friends. I would say six people is the max you should bring there. I recommend the place if you want to venture out to Morton Grove and want to get away from Chicago’s more traditional places for pizza.
