The Apple Pan

This is conveniently located across the street from the Westside Pavilion, near the Landmark theaters. It’s a pretty classic old-fashioned burger joint where the entire place is just a bar table around the kitchen with stools. There is a strong greasy smell of burgers and fries being cooked, as once you enter you’re literally six feet away from the fryer. That is, once you notice how awkward the doors are– there are two sets, the outer swings out, the inner swing in. Confusing.

Anyway, I ordered the steakburger and fries. Pretty good. I don’t find their burger to be the tastiest, but it will do for an after movie meal. At the end of the meal I had their last slice of apple pie with ice cream– on the house since it was the last piece.

I would describe this place as conveniently delicious.
