Umamicatessen

I blogged about a visit to Umami burger before. I also blogged about trying a donut from Umamicatessen at a 24-hour donut event before. These all lead me to come try this place out in downtown LA (DTLA).

I was very impressed with the food here. Everything tasted super delicious, but it’s not for those that don’t enjoy pork. The Pig ears here are amazing and so is the Hoof and Mouth sandwich I had. But what stood out for me was the Foie Gras and Jelly donut. Fried donut. I recommend you give this place a go before the ban goes in effect on July 1, 2012!
