Burger Lounge

I was in San Diego for Comic Con last month. For one night I had dinner at a nearby restaurant, Serenity, thinking it was themed after the movie. Boy I was wrong! The food was a disappointment and I believe a table even got up to leave once they found out that the place was really named Serenity and had nothing to do with the movie based on Firefly!

Anyway, I didn’t enjoy the food there and went out for a second dinner at Burger Lounge. Much better! Despite already having a burger earlier, I ordered a baby sized burger here. The food here is pretty good, but it’s such a shame that it’s located in the Gaslamp area of San Diego. It’s such a douchey area! A lot of clubs in the area with very very long lines. It’s just not kind of scene anymore.
