Art of Pizza
Last month for my birthday, I went to check out the highly recommended pizza joint, Art of Pizza in Chicago. This was recommended to me by several friends as the best Chicago deep dish pizza they’ve had.
I thought it was good, but not the best I’ve had. Here’s what I like about pizza in general:
- I love tasty and crunchy crust
- I love sauce and bread
- I love fresh ingredients in appropriate amounts
- Not a fan of lots of cheese or too much toppings
So in general, the pizza here is good, at a great value. I think the bill for about fifteen some people was about $140– so about $10 a head. This includes some basic soda drinks too! Not to mention we, as a bunch of Asians, only ate a little over half the amount of pizza we ordered!
What didn’t win me over was the crust. It wasn’t super tasty or crunchy. Everything else was fine, but the crust is where I wasn’t impressed. That’s all.
